Tourism development project manager (BoreA Decouverte)
BoreA DécouVERTE is a distillery ÉCONOMUSÉE® for essential oils, innovative and unique in Quebec. It allows visitors to explore the process of extracting aromatic plants while engaging in discussions with the artisans, all within the heart of the boreal forest. Following the product’s journey from harvesting to distribution, visitors will witness that the company does not alter the creation of nature in any way. Instead, it maximizes its potential while minimizing waste; here, everything has a second life!
Your role
Under the supervision of BoreA DécouVERTE’s management, the responsible person ensures the development of local tourism offerings, coordinates with stakeholders in the territory, and works towards sector mobilization in close collaboration with the regional tourism association Tourisme Baie-James.

- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Recognized for analytical and synthesis abilities
- Participate in any tourist committe set up by the ATR
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
- Undergraduate degree in tourism management, business administration, or marketing (any combination of qualifications, including a college diploma with experience, will be considered)
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of the sector, tourism trends, businesses, and the territory (an asset)
REQUIREMENTS
Bilingualism mandatory:
- Languages spoken: French and English
- Written languages: French and English
- On-site work in Chapais
