As a producer and exporter based in Chapais in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region (Northern Québec, Canada) since 2014, BoreA Canada produces essential oils, hydrosols and other high quality extracts via its traditional and innovative extraction processes which are based on sustainability.
OUR CIRCULAR ECONOMY
BoreA Canada uses a circular distillation process, in symbiosis with an electricity generation plant that uses biomass. The process creates steam from our residual material which is used as fuel. This creates a 60% reduction in greenhouse gas emission (GHG), compared to conventional processes.

The boreal forest
Boreal Forests cover about 30% of the world’s forested areas and stores as much or more carbon as tropical forests. It is the biggest ecosystem on the planet. Thousands of species of wildlife inhabit this wide green band which is visible from space and which encircles the northern section of the globe.
OUR TEAM
BoreA Canada is made up of 15 people, except during the summer when our numbers are increased by all our passionate pickers whose true-nature is 100% pure. We work very hard to offer you, with the utmost respect, the riches of the boreal forest.
